What is live-in help?
Personnel live with the Client to provide assistance.
What duties will live-in personnel do?
Carers/Companion/Housekeepers duties can range from general companionship and light housework through to high levels of personal care as well as assist with or undertake shopping and cooking. If you have specific duties in mind please contact us.
How long will the help live-in for?
This is up to the Client whether help is just needed for three days or for an indefinite period. We can help on an ad-hoc or ongoing basis. With ongoing rota placements we recommend an initial placement period of two weeks but this is flexible to suit the Client.
How much will it cost?
This depends on the level of help required. The basic cost will be the Personnel’s Daily Rate and Agency Fee. Additional costs will include food allowance and Personnel’s travel expenses. There is an Agency Registration Fee that is payable to bring a Client on to our books.
How do you find the right help?
Personnel are introduced to match the Client’s requirements, such as duties, experience as well as aiming to match personalities.
What Personnel do you have?
We have a wide variety of experienced and vetted Personnel available; male and female of various ages and nationalities.
What areas do you cover?
We can introduce assistance throughout the UK and Channel Isles.
When I have a change in personnel how will the next person know what to do?
The outgoing personnel will do a hand-over to the incoming help as well as being provided with a case sheet with the Client's details, their routine and duties required
which ensures continuity and helps with your independent living.
Can I meet and interview personnel before they start?
As the majority of personnel will be on another assignment it is not feasible however they will be happy to have a chat with you on the telephone.
What if I don’t like the help?
If there is a personality clash then a suitable replacement will be found as soon as possible.
Is Homecare Personnel members of the a regulatory body?
Yes. We are members of the Commission for Social Care Inspection(CSCI) www.csci.org.uk,The Recruitment & Employment
Confederation (REC) www.rec.uk.com, and the United
Kingdom Home Care Association Limited (UKHCA) www.ukhca.co.uk
Can I just register with the Agency without a start date?
Yes. Following you initial contact to ensure that we can be of assistance all you need to do is return your fully completed Application and Duties Form with the Registration Fee.
